M-3 (Gratiot Avenue, 23 Mile Road) resurfacing project from Sandpiper Drive to I-94 beings April 16

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing approximately $8 million to resurface 5 miles of M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) from Sandpiper Drive to 23 Mile Road and M-3 (23 Mile Road) from Gratiot Avenue to I-94, upgrading sidewalk curb ramps, improving drainage, repairing guardrail, and restriping permanent pavement markings in the townships of Clinton, Macomb and Chesterfield.

MDOT lifts traffic restrictions to ease Memorial Day travel

LANSING, Mich.
This Memorial Day weekend, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is removing lane restrictions on more than 55 percent of its road and bridge projects statewide to ease traffic delays for holiday travelers. AAA Michigan estimates more than 1.2 million Michigan residents are expected to travel 50 miles or more from home during the Memorial Day holiday weekend, a 9 percent increase from last year.
Ramp closures at I-94 M-29 Interchange in Macomb County for approximately three weeks

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich.
Beginning 7 a.m. Thursday, May 4, the westbound I-94 exit ramp to M-29 (23 Mile Road) will be closed for approximately three weeks for pavement repairs and partial reconstruction in the interchange.
